DESIGN OF REFRACTORY MATERIALS WITH A HIGH CHROMIUM OXIDE (Cr2O3) CONTENT PART2

The R&D staff of TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS has recently extended the range of unshaped refractory products with a high chromium content with a view to offering customers a varied selection of refractory solutions.

The photo shows how the new product, PYROMASA-90/30 CR is applied to an area exposed to considerable chemical attack and wear.

This refractory putty is easy to apply and designed to withstand very severe working conditions and for application in areas where formwork is difficult.

We currently provide a wide range of shaped and unshaped products with a high chrome content, but this product range has been extended to include products with a high chromium content such as putty (MASILLA T-80-CR), cement-free concrete (TIX-GLASS 70/30 CR) and plastic putty (PYROMASA-90/30-CR). All these products have a chromium oxide content of more than 15%
