NEW DEVELOPMENTS FOR INCINERATING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS IN ROTARY KILNS.

TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS has developed specifications that are explicitly designed to support the demanding conditions of rotary kilns when burning hazardous waste.

In this type of kiln, chemical attack via the infiltration of trash, thermal shock due to the evaporation of liquids, and abrasion caused by wear and tear are the most notable processes that minimise the useful life of refractories.

In a bid to improve the durability of the refractory’s covering, TEIDE has developed a series of specifications capable of withstanding these conditions.

These include refractories designed with very low porosity to minimise trash infiltration, and meticulously selected additives that notably increase resistance to thermal shock.

The specifications developed are MULL-65-F-SUPER, MULL-65-2 and MULL-50-Z-F.

These specifications may double the useful life of your current refractory.
