TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS ATTENDED THE WORKSHOP ON “KNOWLEDGE, THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND RECYCLING IN THE REFRACTORY MATERIAL INDUSTRY”

On the 23rd of October we attended the workshop hosted at the ICV-CSIC in Madrid. This workshop was promoted by the Spanish Ceramics and Glass Society (SECV) in collaboration with ANFRE.

The event was attended by many suppliers, manufacturers and customers from the world of refractories, and they were able to share in first person how each company tackles the challenge of minimising waste and recycling where possible.

During the workshop, success cases in magnesia carbon (Mg-C) brick recycling were presented to encourage people to develop this type of project, given the amount of refractory waste sent to landfill.
