**Among the broad specialties that TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS, S.L. has, undoubtedly in the sector, one of the most appreciated is the high anti abrasive resistance of their materials. **

As a result of this, several samples of our products have been subjected to abrasion tests following the norm UNE-EN ISO 10545-6: 1998 “Baldosas Cerámicas:Parte 6:Determinación de la resistencia a la abrasión profunda de baldosas no esmaltadas”.

Method:

This test measures the weight in grams of material, fired at 1250ºC, abraded from a flat surface by means of abrasive corundum FEPA 80, which is pressed over the test specimen turning at 150 rpm for 2 minutes.

Due to the resistance of the speciments, the pressure of the tested materials had been increased by adding 10,5 kgs to the weight the equipment has to carry out to reach the normalized pressure described on the above mentioned norm. Results:
