TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS created years ago he numerical simulation section in order to perform numerical modelling of the several industrial processes that undergoes the refractory material. Numerical simulation as well as laboratory test, allows to R&D+i Department to develop optimized solutions for particular needs of our customers.

Durinf this time TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS has developed models for simulation of various thermal, fluid dynamic, structural and combustion processes. It has also developed tools for the processing of readings done in customer’s plant, which are afterwards analyzed to provide refractory solutions to our customers.

In the framework of continuous improvement, TEIDE takes part in the STIMULI project. The STIMULI Project aims to evaluate the feasibility of a future hub for the promotion of advenced cloud based ICT for design and simulation. This hub will be composed of small and medium size companies, and will use the high performance computing (HPC).

The readings calibration is a part of the cases of use of STIMULI to analyze. In the project participaes, among others: Barcelona Supercomputing Center- BSC, the Politechnic University of Catalonia- UPC.

The collaboration projects like STIMULI is a part of TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS actions to continuous improvement following the ISO 9001 and UNE 166002 norms and the achievement of the best refractory solutions to our customers.
