LOW MAINTENANCE OF VPX BRICK KILN CARS

After 10 years of operation, we are finally able to confirm the excellent performance of this brick kiln car with VPX technology.

VPX technology is characterised by the use of pressed laminate, in this case improved with the use of a high quality laminate, in order to withstand working conditions and annealing at temperatures of almost 1,200ºC with reducing atmosphere flashes, annealing cycles of up to 72 hours, high loads and the additing of salts to the cars.

During the past 10 years, the average annual maintenance cost was 2% of the total investment, with only a minimal number of spare parts being necessary, which is extremely successful for the demands of this type of facility, resulting in the high availability of production cars along with a low maintenance cost.
